I have worked with TROOPER, since 2002, and Stop Smiling was my first steady project with them as an intern, I began designing the back of book around then. Since then I've been involved on almost every issue in a design capacity. I have art directed several, including the Hunter S Thompson tribute issue, The UK issue, and the Stax Retrospective Issue, and the latest issue, Jazz. I have also acted as a photographer for them in many circumstances. The examples below include photographs I took of Noah Baumbach, Keren Ann, Sparklehorse, and Charles Burnett.
